Linda's Sew 'n So began in June of 1982 as Sew 'n So Fabrics in St. Marys, Ohio. We carried fabrics for nine years, and then succombed to the financial pressures of the "big box" fabric stores, who sold fabric at a retail price that was lower than our cost! Thankfully, by that time we had been carrying sewing machines, sergers, and computerized embroidery machines for 7 years.
We raised our two daughters in our business. Heather was 4 months old, and Jennifer was 4 years old when we first opened our doors to the public on West Spring Street in St. Marys. We moved our shop several times over the years, as we grew, got smaller, and grew again.
In October of 2004, a terrible fire took out our location in St. Marys, so we moved to Celina, Ohio, and have been there ever since. We love it here, and probably should have come to Celina way before the fire happened. Our customers are loyal, and they send their friends and family in to purchase machines from us.
Now, having been in business for 36 years, we still work with 4-H members and their families, as well as customers from as far as Beavercreek, Ohio, and Richmond, Indiana to the south, and Delphos to Toledo to the north.
